Not just mediaeval, but also Baroque and 19th Century. The descriptions on the paintings go beyond the who painted it and what is it representing, but it also gives you the context in which it was created and some techniques used in some of them

Lovers of art should visit this museum. A look at its website will suggest the quality of the work shown in it, from late medieval art through to modern times, with plenty of work by famous Old Masters.

Amazing Museum with Art from 13th to 20th Century. Visit also the Sammlung Ludwig of 20th and 21st Century. Most amazing this was all a private collection donated to the city of Collogne.

I particularly enjoyed seeing the collection's Dutch masters, including still lifes and portraits. Definitely worth a visit.

This is a good museum spread over four floors that groups the paintings largely by time starting with medieval times, then Dutch inspired times and then more modern stuff. When we visited there was also an exhibition in the basement about the building/design for the...More
