We got the English speaking tour - it was about 45 minutes - amazing pieces that house the relics of Charlemagne. Some interesting history as well.

Back to glory days and to experience this is a must. Take the guided tour as the history is rich and the guides have snippets of excellence that you do not find in the reading material

If you are into art and intricate gold and silver work, this museum is for you. It also had some ancient textiles and other objects from the Catholic Church. Really worth a visit.

Roaming through the Treasury is a worthwhile excursion to go along with the Aachen Cathdral tour. Many statues, silvercrafts, etc., from the time of Charlemagne up through the 19th century are available for view.
