This local history museum with free entry is situated in the cloisters of a former convent. The building is austere but interesting and the museum exhibits range from toys to furniture, religious artefacts and art. We had a pleasant visit.

A visit to Rostock would not be complete without visiting this museum. Everything you need to know about the area from the sacred, to the contemporary. No better way to spend a leisurely few hours.
