Small, but beautiful place !!!

Whenever I visit Hildesheim, I had a dinner here or looked around the plaza. Intentionally, you do not have to visit here, but if you stay in Hildesheim, you have to do !

Situated in the the market place of Hildesheim, this restaurant is very nice. Inside is just nice, and the food is typically German. Good place too see a typically old German building. Recommend I didn't gave the full classification because of the table that was given to me.

Destroyed in 1945, the house was rebuilt after the war to showcase what Hildesheim must have looked like. Whilst this is a reconstruction it is an excellent example and I was sorry that the building was being renovated so that we were unable to enter. Another reason to return to Hildesheim.

Good place to spend the time after walking around the city. considering Hildesheim suffered from war, the reconstruction did good job. Located in the city center. The scenery is quit a treat.Reccomended that in summer.

Visited this Bar and Restaurant twice on a recent visit to Hildesheim, the build was beautifully restored in the 1980's having been bombed in the second world war and replaced by a hideous concrete building in the 50's, the Market Square in Hildesheim is a great example of old German Architecture. Inside the building you are served good food and... More

the restauration is amazing, when you think that ca. 80% of the old city was distroyed during the second World War.

Atmosphere, and very helpful waiters.German food lots of meat and tasty.I liked the fact that although heavily booked with a very large family party booked in they found us a quiet corner upstairs and a very obliging waiter.

The house has been reconstructed, at great expense and effort, but it is a faithful recreation of the original and a presents a good idea of what life was like hundreds of years ago (and to some degree, even until 1945). Actually the entire Markplatz has been rebuilt and the adjacent buildings are worth a visit as well, there is... More

Great semi timber (fachwerk) hause with a lot of interesting decorations located in the center square of beutifull Hildesheim! The house is big and host the restuarant, but it is indeed worth having a look at, especially taking into account that the DOM currently under reconstraction. Nice in the morning as the crowd is less and also sun is coming... More

Das Knochenhaueramtshaus holds a museum which is fairly interesting, but it is the exterior which is special. The building is located on a square which itself is work a visit, with interesting building to admire and a market to visit.
