Been visiting this place since childhood and is still in great condition. I like riding to the top and go to the Catholic Orthodox Church and then get refreshments back at the top. Great views of the city and historical sites.

This is definitely worth a visit. The funicular is in excellent condition and the journey to the top of Neroberg provides beautiful views of the city and a sense of the Victoria mode of transport. The service is efficient and runs regularly. People were traveling...More

Perfect weather helps alot, but the views are staggering! Friendly staff and a really nice atmosphere on this. Loved the views all the way up and back, was nice to ask if we could ride on the front coming back down, and the 'driver' was...More

Great ride to the top of a hill to oversee the city. Not much to do on the top of the hill as it is a good hike to see the Russian Orthodox church and to enjoy the restaurant . Bring your walking shoes if...More

I took the furnicular on a hot afternoon when the crowd was thin. It's the best way to go up and down the Neroberg hill. The cool breeze and greenery was delightful. The furnicular is powered by some water principle although I'm not exactly sure...More

Great little find and way to access Neroberg rather than drive up. The funicular is operated by water and it was fascinating to see it fill up and empty. A lovely little journey through the shade of the trees to the top of the mountain....More

Well worth taking the funicular. Great views. Plan to spend at least an hour at the top to take in the views, atmosphere and sites. There's a café, garden temple, activity area (adults and nearby children's grounds), Russian church, WWI monument and outdoor swimming pool.

This is a highlight when you come to visit wiesbaden. it offers a wonderful view over Wiesbaden. Make some time in Summer for the Opelbad.

A fab experience, reasonably priced, and a better (and lazier) way to reach the top! Amazing to watch the two carriages overlap on ascent and descent.

We went up to Neroberg whith the waterdriven(!) funicular. Nice view from the top. Small Russian orthodox church worth a visit. Do walk the way back to Wiesbaden and you pass through a very nice neighbourhood, a 20-30 minute walk.
