Difficult to view

Didn't get an enjoyable angle on the cathedral to be able to view it or get a sense of it as a building. Maybe from across the river you could...

Must to see in Frankfurt
Dec 2019
What a beauty! Very different from what you will see around Europe. It has a more earthground vibe. Quick visit still worth it!

Beautiful looking Cathedral from the outside. Unique sight in the city. Pretty big on the inside with lots of history

Nice
Dec 2019
I returned here with my family. It is still a good place to visit and (if you are Lutheran) to worship. On this trip we visited the museum and I do not recommend it. It just wasn't compelling and there was an entrance fee (reasonable).

Nice view up at the top!
Mar 2020
It was quite a climb up to the top, not as many stairs in comparing with Florence, Italy.
However by using the same stairs up and down, it will be crowded if the place is busy.
The view up to the top was beautiful! The top was also so narrow, it allowed only two people came across at one time only.
We went in the morning which helped the situation.
A few Euros was worth it!

Great view from the tower. Small Cathedral
Mar 2020
Me and my father climbed the tower it seemed like endless spiralling stairs! It was fun, and the view did not disappoint. You must be careful climbing the stairs it is extremely narrow and dual service for up and down. I think it could be managed a little more safely with some stewarding.
After the tower we entered the actual cathedral. The cathedral had an amzing group of painted windows displaying Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. It was also lovely too see people devoting themselves to god. My only disappointment was the size of the cathedral considering how big the city is. There are many churches in the area, there is no lack of choice. This one is a great viewing but certainly not the best

Impressive
Feb 2020
This is a very impressive cathedral nearby the Romer area. Very easy to spot because of the very tall steeple. It has very high vaulted ceiling and many intricately carved altar backdrops.

Majestic cathedral

Soaring cathedral just outside the subway stop. Direct connection to God. Say a prayer and light your candle.
