This museum is interesting , but not really what I expected. A good display of stuffed animals, skeletons of dinosaurs and other animals. There were also a few things for children to look into, but on the whole I felt it was not geared up...More

If your children are happy to see Dino- replicas (most of the skelletons are replicas...) you can go for it- but only if you arrive very early. Otherwise ist overcrowded and most of the rooms are too small. It´s not like the big museums you...More

I went with my eight year old son and we had a great time. The dinosaurs, animals and rocks and minerals were quite interesting. Luckily I speak a lot of German though, because most of the displays were in German; we didn't even think to...More

Interesting for young and old people. There are a lot of bones everywhere, many originals and also good copies. Hard to imagine that some of the bones are more than 200 Mio years old. Also very interesting to see the huge collection of taxidermied animals....More

It has everything from animals, planets, evolution, exhibition, cinema, restaurant. Good place for kids and it has 3 floors.. Plan for 4 hours minimum. Loved it.

Very broad selection, could stroll around for more than a day. Dino-focused. Would have loved to see (even) more in-depth storylines on “a day in the life of a scientist in 1800-1850-1900-1950-2000” (which is covered implicitly) and story-lines on animal adaption to its environment.

Whilst this is a great museum and set up well, with clear maps and interesting and informative displays, please note nothing is in English. They don't even have an English map! Whilst my German is OK, it was rather difficult to decipher the detailed scientific...More

Large collection of dinosaurs, fossils and information about solar systems and the earth and its geology. More suitable for children but a grown up who is interested will like it. 10€ entrance is extreme though, but it has 5€ as a student.

Dinosaurs are just one of the joys of this museum. Insects collection is splendid, and the variety of origins of exhibitions material is superb. Price is fair (around 8 euro). Well served by public transportation. There is a charming restaurant on the upper floor (nice...More

This is a great museum in Frankfurt you should visit at all costs. Only caveat of course, children below 4 years are difficult to keep interested. With a 6 yr old though a total fascinating experience. We were at the family day there and it...More
