As mentioned on the pedestrian bridge review, this part of Frankfurt is their postcard. If the Romerberg is the heart of Frankfurt, this is the city's soul. It's so lively around the Main, the peace of the river, the Eiserner Steg, the view, the colors...More

I would love to be here whenever the weather allows me. Check weather, bring blankets and some drinks or snack, call good friends and chill! So recommend sitting on one of the benches or lying down under the tree shade and have a break! :D

This is a nice path along the Main River with many trees providing shelter. You can have a nice view of the city along the river. There are many places to sit on the path, so you can relax and enjoy the moment.

We went in the summer, in the month of August. There was a fair/festival taking place, with rides and a lot of great street food and desserts. Everything was set up near the water, and it looked beautiful and very festive.

Great path along the Main river to take in the scenic views and river activity - even in winter time the city does a great job of keeping the Mainkai clear for outdoor enthusiasts.
