Inspired by Escape Rooms: ParaPoly - The Urban Adventure Game

12 reviews
ParaPoly - The Urban Adventure Game is a new kind of leisure activity. A game with components of scavenger hunt, escape game and city tour, combined into a real-life board game.

Starting from a central square in the city, the tour takes you to famous places, important monuments and interesting corners. Existing elements are used for the game: buildings, monuments, streets, statues - this is how history comes alive.

The tasks were designed by escape game developers. And just like in an escape room, each game has its own mission, which is integrated into a story along with the places you visit and the tasks you have to solve.

ParaPoly is suitable for everyone who likes to play games, be it a parlour game, escape room, scavenger hunt or city rally, everyone who loves adventure, likes to solve puzzles, does not shy away from 2-3 km of walking and likes to experience something in a group. You can play as a couple or even in six, with children and grandparents.

This was a very beautiful scene. Classic Architecture like a Disney picture from Its a small world. I certainly suggest taking the subway system then walking the city. It is like finding all these wonderful bread crumbs as you go along.

While its physical structure is new, this church has a rich history behind it, as it is located on the old Romerplatz, and is also where Martin Luther made a stop on his way to Worms (for the Diet that occurred there). We stopped in mostly for a quick break from the hustle and bustle outside, and we were pleasantly surprised to hear an organ "recital" of sorts. In reality it was simply some post-tuning testing, but we liked to think otherwise.

The Nicholas Church is situated in the central area of Frankfurt. It is surrounded by German style buildings rich in history depicting old tradition and culture. You cannot help but enjoy the rich heritage together with local foods from the restaurant at the square complete with the sounds of the church bells chiming in your ears. Its definitely worth a visit while in the city.
