The Russian Orthodox church is a gem on the hill in the artist colony. No photography permitted inside the building.. if you are lucky enough to find it open - take the time to go in and sit and just look at all the artwork...More

This gorgeous church is in use as a place of worship, and has limited opening hours for sight-seers, so don't expect to be able to stroll in. But if you can plan your visit it is worth doing so.

The Russian Chapel is a fascinating piece of architecture in Darmstadt and indeed Germany. Definitely worth a visit.

We could only see the chapel from outside. Beautiful building and probably as nice inside.Right next to Mathildenhöhe.

A really nice example for a Russian church. It is still in use. Beautiful place to look when you visit the Mathildenhoehe.
