If you visit Bad Homburg and don't visit the castle and garden , you will have missed one of its best attractions . A walk in the garden is well worth the time . Providing a beautiful landscape and a relaxing environment . The castle grounds are immaculate and joy to behold.

Well kept historic castle and gardens. Check out the really old trees. Great for a relaxing walk or coffee in the castle cafe.

We had the best tour guide imaginable, a dear friend who has lived in Bad Humburg for over 30yrs. No entrance fee's. The palace is beautifully maintained. The gardens spectacular. We visited on a rainy day and another day with a touch of sunshine. You could enjoy tea inside or outside here if you so desired as a small Resturant... More

This place is really well kept. Nice gardens, gorgeous trees, two of them very old. We saw locals enjoying coffee at the cafe and just strolling the place. We visited this place a couple of times. Very relaxing. You can visit the white tower, symbol of the city

Nice castle and garden... but beware of taking a terrible guided tour and being ripped of (even if it is only 4 Euros per person). Renovation work is being done, but visitors aren't warned about this... so after 30 very boring minutes the "tour" is over... no discount, no compensation like the visit of the "Schlossturm". But nevertheless you should... More

We bicycled in the park surrounding the Palace, it is beautiful and very peaceful. Then we walked the formal gardens and took the tour of the castle. The tour is very interesting and the guide did a very good job of explaining things in both English and German. It would be helpful to read a little about the history before... More

I visited 3 Christmas markets in the Frankfurt region: Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, and Bad Homburg. The market in Bad Homburg was small and charming. It was nestled right into the town and I parked in the garage right beneath the market - very convenient for someone with bad knees who cannot walk great distances. From that spot, I meandered into the... More

Usually few people on guided tours. Doesn't take too much time. It's in Bad Homburg, not in Bad Nauheim, as the title indicates

Nice enough. There's several other attractions in the area so the drive up from Mannheim was worth it.
