We walked through the gardens and spent a good hour just wandering and looking around. Many people were sunbathing or picnicking. We concluded our walk at the beer garden on the edge of the garden. Worth a stroll for a relaxing time.

This park is really beautiful and tranquil. Despite the many visitors, it never felt too busy or cramped. This is definitely somewhere to visit when in Potsdam or Berlin.

This huge space is well used by many people without feeling crowded. There are bathers (although you shouldn't) and time to take in the history of the place, There views are stunning and one could spend a long time there.

This park, not far from Sanssouci Park, was less crowded while continuing the delight of follies, gardens and palaces.

We visited Potsdam twice as one day would not have been enough to cover Sansouci gardens and the town itself. On our "town" day we bought a picnic lunch and enjoyed it here with nice views across the lake to a few of the lakeside villas. I think it was no more than a leisurely 10 or 15 minute walk... More

Whilst we stayed in Berlin we wanted to visit Potsdam and see Glienicke Bridge. Close by is this delightful park. Coming in Autumn we benefited from the glorious colours on the trees. Not satisfied with visiting once, we came back a second the day after. It is truly an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Berlin

Myself does not like huge things without special decoration, so this garden does not attract me a lot. But for a visitor, a walk here between the trees is already fine enough.

My favourite part of Potsdam because most of the tourists do not make it here. It is a beautiful park with a jewel of a lake in the middle which the locals use as a swimming pool and is surrounded by other lakes. For history buffs it also contains the site of the Potsdam conference and is a short walk... More

A nice place for walk in the park. Also a lot of cultural life if you are in the mood: Cecilinhof Palace, Mramor Palace, old brewery with a view on the lake, orangery. It's very beautiful there.
