Marble with English styled country garden. Definitely a must see. Picnic; cycle ride or both just visit the Marmor once.

This palace is quite small and currently being restored. It is beautifully located by the Helliger See.

This palace was occupied by the German royals until 1917. The interiors are a marvel of decorative arts. It is set in beautiful gardens on the shore of the Helliger See. The restoration taking many years was completed in 2009, is careful and authentic. The delightful approach walking through the gardens along the lake is free of tourist crowds.

Well kept, well preserved, with fine gardens and view of the lake. Lots of walking to get there and additional charges for entry, guide, translation, etc., etc. It wouldn't be on the top of my list in Potsdam unless you had unlimited time.

Very nice visit, the palace is very beautiful and even the view from it is very nice. Too bad one has to walk all the way there (I imagine not so pleasant in winter) and the tour is mandatory and not always in English.

Not so much as to admire its beautiful gardens and architecture. Near schloss Cecilienhof so you get like more sight seeing for one place. parking is ok.

Potsdam is full of palaces, and this one is just another one - nice well maintained bulding in a beautiful park. I think it is ok just to visist the Sansoucci and other to see from outside, unless you are a history student of history freak.

Although I was rather tired by the time I reached this palace after visiting various other Potsdam attractions, I am really glad I made the effort to get there. I walked through the Neue Garten from Cecilienhof, which is an excellent walk, but few others seem to do this. The customer service at the palace was excellent - so much... More

Marmorpalais looks simply stunning - red palace situated on the lakeside amidst a beautiful garden couldn't look anything else. It's also very interesting inside - the tour takes you through many rooms with many artifacts. The tours are held in German, but you get an audio guide in a selection of languages. Be aware that the tours start at particular... More

The grounds are well groomed and the view on the back side of the Marble house overlooking Heiliger Lake is beautiful. All tours are lead with guides only. There is an additional fee, beyond the entrance price, if you want to take pictures inside. There are audio guides in english, but when I inquired the lady at the counter did... More
