We ended up here because we saw and an out-of-date sign that suggested we could get food here. The building is undergoing extensive renovations so only a small part is open to the public and there was no cafe. However, the four rooms that were...More

The Orangerie was build as a conservatory, but the areas that served as greenhouses are currently under repair. You can tour the interior of the palace and see some very good art collections (paintings by Raphael, for example), but the live tour is only provided...More

This place is 10-15 minutes walk from palace Sans Souci. It was much less crowded because it is not as famous. The garden was beautiful and better kept than San Souci possibly because it is smaller than its more famous neighbor.

Yet another stunning building in this park. They don't take credit cards here and nearly cleaned us out of Euros. If you want to use a credit card buy your tickets at one of the larger ticket offices.

After the Neues and Sanssouci Palaces, this is the most beautiful. It is more splendid than the New Chambers. It is not far from Sanssouci Palace.

An excellent building to spend some time around, so much so that I came back again to see it. Unfortunately at the time of my visit June 2017, some parts were closed and most of the fountains drained. However if you go when it is...More

I visited the orangerie saturday 27 May and the 6 Euros entry price is totally exorbitant considering that you can only see 6 room out of which only the Raphael room is interesting. When I was sitting on the visitors sofa there a gallery attendant...More

A tour which was only in German when we came takes you through roughly six rooms which are impressive but not stunning. The art is largely copies. We did not get into the Organerie itself which looks nice and I would say that you should...More
