Wonderful engraved doors at the entrance lead into the brick interior. It is highlighted here and there with art works and memorials. The barrel vaulted roof looks extremely impressive. However, does look a little underlit so that prevents it showing itself to full effect.

Again as the Rathaus, the dom is beautiful! The colours are red and yellow and quite bright and this strenghtens its beauty. We took the tour up the tower; worthwile though you have to look through iron fences... The Bleikeller with the mummies was also cool to see and all in all quite cheap.

As well as the working cathedral there is also a small museum in the corner - free to enter and particularly of interest if you are into old textiles.

Certainly a Bremen landmark. Houses a variety of musical performances and recitals. Appears to be over 1200 years old.

No one can miss the Cathedral, as it forms one of the sides of the Bremer Marktplatz. It may not be the most impressive cathedral in the world, yet do pay attention to both exterior and interior. (from Wikipedia) There is a tradition with a connection to the cathedral. When a man reaches the age of 30 and still is... More

It was free to look around the Cathedral. It has some lovely stain glass windows and lighting. A must see if you visit Bremen.

A cathedral as u have it in almost every European town. It is beautiful and for a small entrance fee u can climb up the stairs to the bell tower or/and see the tombs. A "nice to see" when u are in bremen.

Big, beautiful church. Candles, stained glass, high celings, etc. Best part: a "quiet room" downstairs for prayer and meditation. There's also a small garden attached to the church. Nice!
