A really nice park to walk around in. There's also a beautiful wind mill in it. Walking along the river makes for a really nice stroll

Surprise Windmill opportunity
Sep 2019
This park is in the centre of Bremen and is a charming area.
It wasn’t that far a walk from our hotel, about 10 minutes if that, and was on the way to or from the main shopping area. There is also a tram stop right outside.
It was good to wander around the park looking at the sculptures, the pretty flowers and the windmill which was a surprise.
The park is very clean and well kept. The waterways running though the park were pretty clear and there were lots of ducks and fish there.
There is a café in the windmill and there are a few seats outside it which were packed when I was there.
You can also get an ice-cream from there as I did and wander around eating it or just sit and admire the flowers etc.
If I lived in the area I would make this the park that I went into often and will certainly return the next time I go to Bremen.

A City Park am Wall
Dec 2018 • Couples
When you get enough strolling amongs the crowd so well in the town center of Bremen or the shopping area, go to this park. It is just outside the "Altstadt" next to the city wall (am Wall). We were here in december so we didn't see all the beautiful colourful flowers but still enjoyed walking around in the park. There are some statues, an old gate (on the west side of the park), found a big tree with weird fruit, a sundial, "Rehbrunnen", a restaurant in a windmill, birds and water birds.

From the old times
Jun 2018 • Couples
As with many places in different parts of Europe centuries ago city protected themselves with walls, waters etc. The remains of the water are still there surrounded by trees, flowers and possibilities to walk, relax and just enjoy.

Romantic autumn stroll
Oct 2018 • Couples
Situated within a 10 minute walk of the central square in Bremen, Wallanlagen Park serves as a connecting pathway to the Viertel and is ideal for a leisurely stroll.

Picturesque at any time of year, it is particularly beautiful in the autumn when the leaves change colour - creating a stunning inner-city oasis from which you can retreat from the busy roads and crowds.

A note of caution, the park is especially popular with cyclists and - even though there is a designated bike lane - it’s easy to cross over into it on foot if you’re looking at the beautiful scenery and statues, so be careful!

Some people may also be put off by the street art and graffiti which includes ‘tags’ sprayed on some tree trunks and brick buildings. Personally, I liked the occasional pop of unexpected colour!

We even saw a red squirrel and rare species of birds, which was delightful.

still an eye catcher...

...in the middle of Bremen.... if you're going to city centre and just like to have a short rest: go there. Precisely these small green oases in the centre makes Bremen so charming.

Charming city park
May 2018 • Couples
Our hotel was right next to this park so of course we ended up taking plenty of long walks through it. Very clean and well kept, and the Windmill cafe is a great place to enjoy an afternoon ice-cream - if you can find a table, that is.

Beautiful Park & Bulbs
May 2018 • Couples
The park is beautiful, the colourful flower beds well kept?

Lovely to sit in the hot sun in May.

2 minute walk from the main shopping area.

We used the toilets in the windmill but did not order food & drink as a little pricy and all the available seating was on a slope making it difficult to get confortable.

Nice park
Jun 2017 • Friends
A very nice little park with a cult windmill in it. There is also a small river that crosses it. It is located between the train station and the center of Bremen.
