I have been here several times and it has never been crowded, or even busy. The range of art on display is from the 13th to 18th century. This is perfect for me as there is very little from the 19th and 20th centuries that...More

We went in the afternoon. No crowd and we had a good time walking around and enjoying the pieces! It's a good mix of paintings as well as sculptures. We walked the museum in less than 2 hours.

Another outstanding museum located on Museum Island, the impressive baroque Bode is home to the Sculpture Collection and Museum of Byzantine Art (the Byzantine art collection and the coin cabinet are especially noteworthy). Recommend

Spacious museum containing large collection of art from different periods. Unfortunately, the exhibit is typical, therefore not breathtaking.

Historical sculpture and painting, the majority of which is Germanic. Focus on Gothic wood carvings, very beautiful. The renaissance and other periods are covered, it is all exceptional examples of the period.
