This was a full day tour booked through Viator and handled by the Essence of Berlin Group in Berlin. We were on the Regal Princess and picked up at the Port. Our tour Guide was Taylor and he was so knowledgeable, with a terrific personality and very engaging. The tour covered all the highlights of the City and more. Enjoying a brief stop for lunch to with great food and beer representative of the area. It was nice that we didn't spend a lot of time in a fancy restaurant, taking away from our tour time to see so many things in one short day. While the ride from the Port to Berlin was long, it was fine...since the bus was air conditioned and had WiFi. I not only learned a lot, but had fun doing it. We never really felt rushed, yet Taylor was on top of getting us back to the ship in time. Very in tune with timing and some guests limitations. The entire tour was organized and timely.

The good parts: our tour guide who met us at Serenade of Seas (Erik) was just too much fun. A delightful young man who gave an interesting and youthful perspective. Wish we could say the same for the Berlin tour guide, Brigit, who talked incessantly and repeated herself constantly. So much to see; could easily do 3-4 days. A good taste of the city. Lunch at local restaurant was authentic German and excellent. Beautiful churches and historical buildings. The cons: way too rushed. On and off the bus 6-7 times to"take a picture" but no real time at the wall, Brandenburg gate, Checkpoint Charlie. Sadly, at the end of the tour we were given 45 minutes to shop. Could have cared less. Would have much preferred time at the Wall to see the museum. Not the best choice for a tour. Our thanks to Erik for all the hospitality.

We had a fabulous walking tour of Berlin with Annabel who's knowledge of Berlin's history was incredible. We would never have seen so much in our 3-hour window without Annabel and she answered every question we posed which were many. We came from a Viking Cruise ship by train from the coast and met Annabel in Berlin where the tour bus dropped us and even though we were later than expected, she accommodated us and we communicated by text. While others from our ship walked with maps to find their way, Annabel knew how to make sure we saw as much as possible in our visit. She was a delight! When first looking for a guide I emailed Rob because there were many great reviews of his tours. He responded immediately and said he was unable to give us a tour but would gladly find someone to take us. Not only did Rob find Annabel for us, he continued to be my email connection until we met Annabel in Berlin and his responses were almost immediate. You can't go wrong with Rob or Annabel. Thanks for a great day in Berlin!

I first met Rob from All-In Private Tours when I traveled to Berlin for the first time and signed up for the Third Reich Tour. Rob's enthusiasm and passion for WWII history were unmistakeable and I knew I would want to use his services again. I returned to Berlin again and wanted to take the David Bowie Tour, as I've been a fan since the 70's. Rob's passion, again, was palpable and he gave detailed information and insight, every step of the way. Plus, Rob gave a lot of background information on Berlin at the time Bowie was living there from 1977-1979. Rob's passion is truly inspiring. I highly recommend Rob and All-In Private Tours. Rob answers email in a timely manner, goes over all details of the journey and truly cares about giving people an experience they will never forget, at a reasonable cost.

We had an excellent walking tour both through Berlin and the Sachsenhausen concentration camp. Rob was an fabulous guide, super knowledgeable about the history, and told hilarious and engaging stories while we walked. Even through the rain, my friends and I had a great time and learned much more than we would have if we were to do the research ourselves. Highly recommend!
