I went to see Helmut's pictures. Unfortunately, they weren't there.. the first floor was under construction so the second floor housed another photographer Sigrid Neubert. Beautiful architecture-photography which I happen to like so that was a plus. You can still visit the "life"-part of his...More

As a fan of Helmut Newton myself this exposition is disappointing, they have some personal items like calendars, cameras and notes for his wife after he passed away. The presentation of the items it’s quite poor, the lighting it’s bad, looks empty, even the selection...More

Being a photographer, this was one of the highlights of my last visit to Berlin – but I can understand how someone who’s looking for a more mainstream offering might find it ‘limited’. And it’s probably not the best signposted museum in the world –...More

This is actually part of the museum of photography. The exhibition depicts the life of Helmut Newton as a photographer and an artist. It includes numerous (mostly black and white) photos of female stars and models. There's also a model of the artist's work room...More

We stumbled upon this, only becoming aware of it as we passed it on a train. Easy to miss in a city with so much to do, but if you've got 1-2 hours and any interest in fashion and photography, this is fun outing. The...More

Great collection of stuff from Helmut Newton a provocative fashion photographer of mostly half naked women. Lots of interesting things including letters from magazines ect.
