Suarezstrasse, 14057 Berlin Germany
Neighbourhood: Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Antiques Street
Nov 2018 • Solo
While on vacation it is fun to leisurely walk and explore the many antique stores which are all located on one street. Obviously, many antiques are expensive but sometimes one can find affordable items or just enjoy looking at interesting pieces.

Antiques Mile over priced
Nov 2018 • Couples
Regularly go to antique shops around Uk and Europe. Saw this advertised and wanted to visit whilst in the city.

Firstly shop opening fimes vary and we found many closed for the day. Those open had some fabulous pieces and a good variety. Sadly the items we viewed were priced very high in comparison to the Uk market. But if you dont mind spending more its possible to find exciting pieces.

We did find the flea markets where the prices whilst still a little high were more reasonable.

DISAPPOINTINGLY OVERPRICED
Apr 2016 • Couples
We saw "Antiques Street" from a bus tour. It looked intriguing - so many antiques shops gathered together, so we went back for a better look.
It actually only took about 30 minutes to cover every shop. The stock wasn't that exciting - and the prices were steep.
There aren't many bargains to be had at Portobello Market (London) either - but at least the variety of the items on sale is interesting.
Not here.

fantastic antique stores
May 2014 • Friends
This small street in Charlottenburg is heaven for vintage and antique lovers. Stores carry furniture, porcelain, glass, silver, jewelry and vintage clothes in a variety of periods. Lots of Art deco & repro pieces.
Very good items and affordale prices.

For those interested in antiques & retro design furniture and and more as well as second hand cloths, bags and jewelry
Jul 2013 • Solo
People who live in Berlin since a long time probably know this street. However, this area of Berlin maybe with the exception of the Sophie Charlotte castle is rarely mentioned in tourist articles and or guide books. This is street worth discovering for those with interest in antique or retro design furniture, old china and glass as well as second hand cloths, shoes, handbags and jewelry. Check opening hours on the above website. The shops are very well curated by style, colour etc.
