The Stadium is astounding in design and construction though more than 80 years old. There are a few still standing building of the Third Reich, and this is equally impressive to the others. We did not attempt to enter it, but got out of our tour van and walked around with our guide. Worth a see as is Templehof airfield.

This 3rd large German stadium has the original outside but the inside and the roof is so modern and nice. Even if there is an athletic running court around the pitch you can get a quite good view on the entire pitch even from the cheapest places.

did not have the opportunity to go inside but just being there and reliving the memories of this stadium and what it represented in our past was amazing.

Originally designed for the 1936 Summer Olympics by Werner March, today Olympiastadion stands as a restored icon of stadium design and international sport. Back in the dark days of the cold war, the area had an entirely different feel, with British military HQ within the stadium estate and a far more malign atmosphere prevailing than is now present. A real... More

We were invited to watch the final game of the Bundesliga season - our team, Bayer 04 Leverkusen versus Hertha Berlin. We parked some way away from the stadium and walked the rest of the way with thousands of other soccer fans - 99,9% supporting the home team. The Olympiastadium is certainly very impressive - not only the size and... More

Leipzig absolutely hammered Hertha on the day. Naby Keita owned the midfield and Hertha looked like they were playing whilst on mogadon. The stadium was magnificent and it is a real treat to be able to drink a nice beer whilst watching a game - we can't do this in the UK

Had an amazing trip to the Stadium with my friend who had not been before and she was quite emotional. Both sport lovers so we felt the significance of the history and the current position of the venue. Great lunch to boot!

We caught the train from Alexanderplatz and arrived at the stadium around 30 minutes. We hadn't managed to book onto the tour, so we wandered around ourselves. What a visit. A humbling visit. So much to see, think about and take it. We would recommend visiting the Stadium without hesitation. We were there for a couple of hours, leave plenty... More

Well worth a visit for football or any Sports fans; along with the historical side of the place. The actual complex is huge. Took the 'overground' train the S5 from the City Centre at Alexanderplatz - which took around 30mins, approx. 9 Euro return, from there for 2. A place of history; Olympic games from entering at the East 'Olympic'... More

Tremendous place to see which bleeds the history of the so called Nazi Olympics of 1936. Such an imposing place and great that it is still used today for top level sport. Peek round the south side to see the old bell which fell from the tower in an air raid.
