EXTREMELY RUDE staff in Berlin Info office and shops (book store, particularly). And avoid French tourists!
On something like 4 levels, trains and S-Bahn make sure you get to your destination. There seems to be a problem with the announcement system that only provides info on a 1/2 hour timeframe. This can be frustrating for travellers with luggage who are requested...More
I had to vacate an hour early then planed but I was able to spend that time in multiple shops at multiple levels within the Hauptbahnhof. Not as much crowded as Frankfurt or Cologne Railway stations but sometimes the sheer number of people gets enormous.
Do not use the Change machines at the Rail Fresh WCs. I had only my last €20 after travelling and needed to use to toilet. The machine that takes only €20 notes took my money but no change came out. There was no one around...More
