A man from London told me about Temelhof at a bar and we decided to bike there the next day. It is a wonderful, fascinating "park". The entire airfield has been turned into an open public space. You can walk, run, bike on the old...More

A great site for military historians. The Berlin Air Lift memorial is huge. Park area around memorial was untidy and full of litter. Memorial is a 2-minute walk from tube station. When we visited the airport buildings were not open for the public. Interesting to...More

For me a really interesting park as you are able to explore old airport's grounds. It is located a bit further though so visit only if you have enough time to spare.

The tour would probably be fine if I went on a one! There is so little info about the place that it's confusing. I saw the opening times were from morning(I guess 9am, not sure) until 7pm so I chose the go there around 4pm...More

This is an interstesting and magnificant example of Speers arcitecture. Impressive building complex. We did not have time to take the guided tour, just took a long walk out side the whole building. This took us about 2 hrs.

We did the THF tour. The tour itself is really good: 2 hrs and the guide takes you all around. However, there are some negative points: 1. Although the advertised cost is 15Euros per person, it actually costs 34 for two booking online. 2. It...More

Special place. Former AirPort. Surrounding airstrips and fields are used for sports, walks, people have small Gardens there... We rented a bike and combined a visit to Prenzlauer berg and oranienstrasse with a visit to Tempelhof. Was a perfect day!

We went to the guided 2 hour tour which at first felt like a long time but the guide really showed off her knowledge and the building history is all so interesting so you had wished for a 3 hour tour. The park outside is...More

The "airport" is huge and there's plenty of space to do whatever you like, flying a kite or having a BBQ etc. In my opinion a very interesting visit when in Berlin and you can see the horizon in a 360° angle over the entire...More

YES, there are regular Guided Group tours of Tempelhof. We did a weekend tour, and there was at least one other group being guided around the venue at the time. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and articulated. They... More
