The guided tour of the building was very interesting. This covers the history, including the fascinating story of how it was re-fitted after war damage. It also explains how the various rooms are used for different types of concerts. The tour guide was very knowledgeable...More

We were here for the season-opening concert, which featured the US organist Cameron Carpenter and, after the intermission, Mahler's monumental Fifth Symphony. A wonderful building (rebuilt as most of them in Berlin) in a gorgeous square. You have great classical music concerts specially during the summer. Excellent!!

We heard the Basel (Switzerland) chamber orchestra (Kammerorchester) along with the newest solo clarinetist with the Berlin Philharmonic, Andreas Ottensamer in a concert that featured the wonderful Mozart Clarinet Concerto. The Konzerthaus Berlin dates back to 1817 and was a theatre before being renamed and...More

This is a beautiful old building in the centre of the city and home to the Berlin Konzerthausorchester (the other Berlin orchestra). There are a variety of concerts on offer and I would definitely recommend a visit. There is a small restaurant in the theatre...More

We showed up literally 5 mins before our performance and walked straight up to our seats. Photos and videos were ok, as long as no flash.
