As soon as you walk off the streets, this parkland takes you away from the city life into a tranquil area. Visiting in the autumn presents the park with the autumnal mix of colours and falling leaves. A well worth while destination to break up...More

The gardens are very centrally located and are beautiful for a long 1-2 hours stroll. There are numerous places to stop and have a quick bite and drink. Choose a clear day, as a stroll while it's cloudy or rainy can be rather depressing here.

A good flat park for running. Morning run here and drop into Brandenburg gate was a good way to start the day when traveling. Easy 10km route.

Nice large park to ride a bike through and the beer garden inside is the largest and nicest I saw in Berlin. Great place to stop for lunch on a nice day.

Beautiful walk through the gardens. Just watch out for bike riders. We started at the Reichstag and walked to the Victory column. Very pleasant

We walked & cycled through it. It's enormous. The sun shone the birds sang. Fabulous place. Would love to really explore it further

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through
the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which
lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood.
Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city:
upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades
and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone
streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through
little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop

Walking in the park, seeing the gardens, Lamp Post Museum and many beautiful statues is free. There's a charge for going inside the Victory Column (Siegessäule), and of course for food and drink at the restaurants.
