It's a beautiful building but we felt it was expensive for what you see, I think we should have had the audio, maybe we would have got more from our visit

A must see in Berlin! Inside is stunning with detail and a huge organ and high domed ceiling. Would decinately recommend the climb to the roof for amazing views over the city! There are a lot of steps to climb and some are small and low level but it is worth it! Excellent value for money too.

My daughter and I visited the Cathedral on a whim, and we were so glad we did. It's lovely inside and we especially enjoyed the views from the top. It's a bit of a climb, but it's well worth it. You can walk outside around the dome and get a great view of the city.

One of the bbest cathedrals i have been so far in europe. The building is bold and royal not only in the outside but also in the inside. With a huge eb suite organ instrument built on on of the cathedrals walls. A true architecture wonder carefully decorated with attention to details!

Amazing architecture! Beautiful from inside out. It is located in the Museum Island. Do climb up the stairs for 360 view of the city from the dom. But bear in mind that if you get the Museum Pass, this attraction is not included.

Lovely cathedral and if you're ok with climbing a few steps, the view outside from the top is definitely worth it

This a must see in Berlim, no doubt, if you think it's beautiful from the outside, go get a pick inside , fair price for a great visit ending with an amazing view from the top of cathedral's dome . The visit starts with some walking inside the cathedral main building including some great information about it's history and participation... More

This remarkable Cathedral is located on the Museum Island in the Mitte area in the Center of Berlin. The famous television tower is just few minutes’ walk and same as Alexander Plaza. The Cathedral architectural is amazing with the plaza in front of it where you can take some nice photos for the cathedral.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
