Reputedly the biggest department store in Europe, it certainly is big, and famous. Nice to just walk around. A bit on the expensive side, but worth a visit, especially the food court.

KaDeWe is the most famous shopping venue in Berlin, but it is packed with tourists on Saturdays, so try to avoid. Just browsing through the luxury departments is an event, but do take a closer look - you might find something at a nice price....More

We wanted to do some fancy Christmas shopping, its a bit like Selfridges with sprinkling of Harrods on acid, fantastic, then we got hungry and went to the top, what a choice, we ended up at a little Italian bar and had the best spaghetti...More

When we were strolling around the city centre in Berlin, we found this famous and popular Department store. Coincidentally, it was Black Friday! Shoppers were everywhere. Since it is a very big store, we wouldn’t be able to see everything. We mainly saw the floor...More

Fantastic shops even though most of them are high end. Food court and bar area is great. You could spend a good part of a day wandering around this place.

This is a departement store of high standards. Eating in one of the many bars on the two top floors is a treat.

I know it's basically a shop but it's like a German version of Harrods. It's definitely worth spending an afternoon here. The food hall is the best bit, though. Huge counters and displays of wonderful cakes and chocolates, lots of little mini-restaurants dotted around if...More

I think this place beats Harrods food hall, we went on my birthday for oysters & champagne, service was great too, so much choice of places to eat & different types of food.

Worth a visit. It's certainly huge! Food hall is the best bit. Really cool and good prices, just so much choice! I've seen comparisons to harrods in London and this is a way off. Think more John Lewis on performance enhancing supplements!

In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political
west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to
famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may
have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays
tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest
city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent
past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating
back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while

Disappointing selection. Chanel was closed for remodel. Small Dior. Hermes was the smallest shop I've seen worldwide. 2 chairs and both taken by 1 customer and her purse. Not a feel of any luxury with such limited... More
