Huge tourist attraction to what is probably the busiest part of town. Once I did my own research the tor or gate was very interesting. However the information boards around the gate I feel have to be more informative and basic to understand.

This was an amazing structure. So beautiful and big! It is a fond memory of my trip to Berlin along with Checkpoint Charlie.

Obviously a magnet for tourists but well worth the visit. Soak up the culture and imagine the splendour from says gone bye. Then think about more recent history and what this place represents.

As a piece of architecture this is really interesting and very beautifully crafted and also has some very interesting history behind it. Well worth a visit and probably worth reading up a little on it before you go too.

Wonderful place, full of history. I think that it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, especially at the night.

This along with the Reichstag is probably on your list of things to see. Go, take your photos and move onto the next attraction. Looks better at night all lit up, rather than during a grey November day. As for the three buses stood on...More

A cool place to visit in the city. Wish there was a good way to get a close look at the carvings. Definitely read up it before you go.

The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights
like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum
Island. The central location makes this one of the
city's most expensive places to live. It is here the
oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence
of some significant transformations, as well. The
gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets
between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given
