This is a wonderful record of Christmas - German style and the rest of the world. Fascinating exhibits that revealed many secrets of the evolution of this festive period every year. Well worth the entry fee

Note: The 3* is for the museum itself, the shop is a definite 5*. The museum has an added cost to the shop it resides in and takes maybe 30 minutes to walk through. It describes Christmas customs and has many examples linked to them....More

I've never seen anything so Christmassy....in March! From the moment you step inside you are engulfed in a magical world. The only minor negative was how very expensive everything was. but you are not forced into buying anything.

The museum has many Christmas decorations with over hundreds years of history. Very interesting to walk and it’s only EUR 4 for an adult entry.

The German Christmas Museum is next door to Hotel Eisenhut and across the street from the Käthe Wohlfahrt Christmas Shop. It is really just an extension of Käthe Wohlfahrt's. There is a shop on the first floor of the Museum. The museum houses a collection...More

We paid the €4 as it was summertime and the city was busy. The museum was quiet though and we enjoyed seeing all the old decorations. It was enjoyable.
