I took my 8 and 5 year old children here mid-week in May - we stayed for the whole day, and they didn't want to leave! The place was not busy at all. There is so much to see - the koi and incredibly loud...More

Great garden, so many plants to see. Best is to go when the weather is not too good, otherwhise it might be too crowded. There is a beer garden inside, you can get bavarian mass beer and just near it a big play ground.

We visited after leaving the Zoo. It's conveniently close, being just across the road. The garden is a lovely spot to visit and not at all expensive - it's only €3.50 per adult. Based on that, we thought it would be a very small attraction...More

This botanic garden is really done well, has lots and lots of areas where you can sit and read or have a picnic with friends. The Japanese garden is also really nice, with a very large water feature. Unfortunately a lot of families were there,...More

Visited the garden on our third day. To my surprise it was actually fun and beautiful. Especially the japanese garden with the small waterfall was very peacefull.

Easily half a day for a plant lover, much larger than it first appears. Well laid out and maintained. Zoo is adjacent if you want to make a day of it.

It was a 2 mile walk from my hotel, but absolutely worth every step. It's much larger than I expected and has a variety of different gardens to enjoy. A park for kids to romp in. Pretty nice place to visit.

I visited the garden in summertime and was amazed at the size. The tropical greenhouse is world class. The large open air auditorium also features regular concerts.

We took the bus from the centre to this garden which is right next door to the zoo. It is a very nice enjoyable garden and the Japanese garden is the highlight, although our tranquility was broken by groups of students who were purely there...More

Only 1.50 euros gets you entrance to the whole gardens (may need to pay more to enter any special exhibition if on)
