Great views!

A great experience. Climbing the stairs of the tower was a great experience, it really felt I was back in time. Once at the top the views of the city were magnificent. I for sure recommend you visit!

I couldn’t go up - it’s under renovation until further notice. I wish I had known so I could plan my trip better.

I passed by the tower everyday when i went to Augsburg and i never ggot tired of watching it. Its architecture is magnificent. People loves to go there and chill in the front open area after work/school in the evening.

A must do when in Augsburg.

Perlach Tower is a historic building that is certainly worth seeing. The walk up the circular staircase to the top is a bit of an effort that when at the top you encounter a "ticket taker" that charges a few Euros. At the top you are in the bell tower with excellent views of the city. I highly recommend this experience.

The tower sits on the square and is next to the coffee houses and shops, A great view from the tower can be seen but on the day I was there I did not go up this time. However, on previous visits I made the effort

Closed for Renovations
Jun 2018 • Solo
Looking forward to the great city view, but on June 10, 2018 a sign on the door says its closed for cleaning. The tourist office is just across the main plaza so we asked about its opening date. Per signage in the tourist office and the tourist representative, its closed at least until Spring of 2019...maybe even longer "it's not in great shape, and the renovation may take up to three years!" Was hoping for an alternative; but sadly great views will have to wait.

This tower will guide you to the center of Augsberg. When you see it, you know you are there! It's worth to go to the top and appreciate the view over the city.

seriously crazy climb up stone steps (safe though, just looks crazy at first) to the top, what a stunning view! Windows are barred though so not so great for photo ops. great place to visit

Don't be scared of heights

Amazing and a great view, however not for people with vertigo and it is best avoided to go up there at full hours, the bells make the wooden stairs shake

Worth the climb for the view
Sep 2017 • Couples
There are a lot of narrow stairs, but there are conveniently placed wider sections of the climb up which have some good photos of areas of Augsberg during WW2 bombing and today.

The view from the top is excellent but be mindful of the time you visit due to the viewing platform being right under the bells. Avoid on the hour visits!!
