This is a nice little addition to a Marienplatz visit as it is just off the main square. It's easy to miss though as you have to walk around the back of the church a little bit to the ticket booth. The climb up can be strenuous and a bit tight, there are about 10 flights of stairs to get... More

This is a breath taker climb & at the top you pay for the privilege! It's a great view all around Augsburg & wet worth the climb up & down. Worth doing.

I was fortunate to be able to visit the tower on a Monday. I was the only one in there! Lots of stairs to climb, but you get a beautiful view of the city.

Given this is an important place in the city, I found it disappointing. It is a little difficult to use the stairs as it is tight and the plates at the top are torn. The view is not totally open as there are railings

After you climbed all of the steps you have the chance to enjoy an amazing view over the roofs of Augsburg. It is definitiv worth seeing.

It is always nice to see a town from the highs and here is possible. You can really appreciate how "big" is augsburg and in my case be really surprised on the beauty and size of the "city-forest" (Siebentischwald)

Make sure you're climbing up the tower on a less busy day - there is not much place on the top where you can stand and watch the view, if there are more than 10 people. BTW, don't be surprised - you pay only after you ascended almost all the stairs

Very European town and square! 9€ for 3 adults, 3 kids. 260 steps might be a little under the actual count. Lady to pay is waiting about 2/3 of the way up in a little booth, has gummy bears for you and a bench to rest a few minutes on. Quick outing, worth the stop in Augsburg. Didn't get to... More

This is a very old tower, still from the 9th or 10.th century. Unfortunately we are too old to climb on the top, but still it is a very nice building
