Topped by what are almost Russian style onion domes this church looks quite different from the exterior and is well worth a visit to see the three huge carved alters that rise almost to the very high ceiling.

Dont miss to visiti this old and with lot of history church in Augsburg. We had the chance to visit the church during an easter mass and it was just great

The church sits on the high ground at the southern end of Maximilianstrasse and should be incorporated into any walking tour of Augsberg. The exterior is attractive but the interior's three ornate altars, pulpit, statuary and interesting iron railings are the real reason to visit....More

Like all the churches in bavaria the church is in superb condition paid for by local taxes on all Christians.

This church is easy to visit and can easily be incorporated into a walk down the main street of Augsburg. It is impressive inside and has amazing altars. Of note are the wrought iron gates that look 3D from afar, and also the underground crypt...More

One of the greatest churches I have ever seen. It's bigger than the Dom in Augsburg and plenty of old beautifull paintings, fantastic orgue and lots of impressive details.
