There were some interesting pieces to see along with the uninteresting. It was a bit boring after awhile.

Right opposite the Townhall, this museum is one of the largest glass museums worldwide (maybe even the largest). Unfortunately the presentation is made without any "love". The rooms are dark (there are lights in the rooms, but they are not switched on). The air in the entire Museum is very, very bad.

We had some time left in Passau so decided to visit the glass museum. At an entry fee of 7 euros, definitely not worth it to us. 4 floors of various pieces of glassware from 1800's and early 1900's, but nothing spectacular. We were done in 20 minutes.

We are in Passau today on our river boat cruise. Glad I had the opportunity to go into this interesting museum. What a beautiful collection of all kinds of glass you can imagine. This is an immense collection of any and all kinds of glass. The museum was laid out very nice and I took many photos in there. Whoever... More

There is so much material made of glass here, one tires after an hour or so. very interesting and part of a hotel along the river front next to the city hall.

this is a unique museum and I don't think there could be a second one like this anywhere in the world. The building alone is a visit worth. A historical building with many turns and corners and steps, amazing doors and jars. The collections are breath taking, beautiful, gorgeous and they're still expanding it. The only negative point was the... More

Very large collection of glassware! I was especially pleased by the very large collection of very nice art-nouveau glassware!

Although there are thousands of them, only antique glass vessels are exhibited. 7Euro admission is not worth it, imo. Not all lights are turned on and when I asked that they be turned on in the Bayerische Wald (Bavarian Forest) room, the receptionist pretended to not understand English anymore, until I showed I could speak German. She could not leave... More

A very large collection of glass but unless you're into antique glass and already know all about it, you won't leave here with much knowledge about the glass industry.

1000's of glasses from a private collection showcased in the Wilder Mann in Passau. Not only an awesome place to view this fabulous collection but to dine and stay in Passau.
