Great statue - but I had no idea what it was suppose to represent. I can totally appreciate the art work and skill of the sculpture makers and this one is probably the best of the sculptures in the town centre.

Based on a poem by a Nurnberger, Hans Sachs, this fountain shows the 6 stages of marriage. Funny in places, the final stage is scary.

Although it represents stages of marriage this fountain has very wired stages, every stage comes with a mythical animal. It's interesting anyway.

Excellent and unusual statue in front of the Weißer Turm in Nuremberg. It apparently seeks to illustrate the various stages of married life. My favourite character is the fat woman stuffing a cake into her mouth. Most entertaining.

A strange, unusual fountain."Ehekarussell" meaning the marriage merry-go-round...I'm not quite sure I got the idea but it's an interesting monument and it worth more than a short look.Different angle, totally different view.

Very nice sculpture. I was surprised to stumble upon it. One can look at it and look at it and continue to see new and perplexing things
