We visited as a family. The price is reasonable.. It may be a bit of a long walk for the elderly but there are seats scattered throughout. It is an absolute must to an audio handset which is free of charge. It is a must visit for history lovers, or even just to learn more about Hitler and Nazis. I... More

As a family of 7, age from 15 through to 73, this visit ticked many boxes on many different levels. Easy to get to and no queues to deal with on arrival. You are given the audio handset when purchasing tickets which is programmed for your language. The centre is a one way trail through the history of how Hitler... More

This great documentation centre is a really interesting use of the Nazi's unfinished Congress Hall and is an absolute must for history lovers in Nuremberg. There are lots of photos and interesting authetic artefacts - we spent several hours hours here and could've easily stayed longer. Toward the end of the museum a glass walkway allows you a better look... More

A really well done exhibit on Nuremberg's role in the rise of the Nazi Party and Hitler. A sad break from our otherwise festive adventures at the Christmas Market, but well worth it.

Vast displays, excellent audio guide, great videos. I followed a visit here with a walk around the nearby lake and a drink at a lakeside bar.

Very good walk through. There is a lot of informational videos and a lot of speaking (get headsets for 4 dollars) from witnesses and local people. You will learn a lot and see the real history of the building.

Very in-depth museum about how the Nazis came to power. Great price (5€ for adults) and that included an audio guide. The only time I would not recommend going here is if you're heavily pregnant like I am, because although there is seating in every room... it's so in-depth that it split into about 17 different rooms and I was... This museum is housed in part of the Nazi's (never completed) Congress Hall. Interestingly the local authorities have left the main part of the building to slowly rot away. It is easily reached from the city centre by tram (line 9 from the main station). The exhibition consists mainly of large boards of text and photos, explaining the part played... More

A very well presented museum that gives a fascinating insight into the rise of the Nazi party and the role of Nuremberg during the period that the Nazi party was in power. Easy to get the museum as a tram stop is located right outside, the audio guides are informative and easy to use. Worthwhile to visit the grounds around... More
