This by far has been the best tour we've done after traveling Europe for a little over a month now. James is a fantastic tour guide and really knows his stuff. I highly, highly recommend this tour from Munich if you have the chance.

James was absolutely fantastic. For such a powerful and sometimes touchy subject, there is no better guide you could have. It felt much more personable than the large companies tours. If you do any tour in Munich, do this one.

It's hard to write a gushing review of a tour of Dachau concentration camp, but nevertheless, we couldn't have been happier with the care and reverence that James showed during the tour. He was a wealth of knowledge with the details and history that led...More

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Dauchau and the other camps as well as WWII generally. We learned the difference between Dauchau which was close to a city and in Germany, and the camps that were further away

Thanks James for navigating us through what is a mind boggling part of German history. The manner and nature in which you dealt with the information and the legacy of the memorial site, was truly outstanding. Kym and I wish you well and thanks again.

We took this small group tour, meeting James, our guide, at the main train station in Munich. While on the train James told us the backstory of Dachau, beginning with the story of Hitler's early life and his rise to power. Once we arrived at...More
