Huge complex of buildings makes this one of the most enjoyable museums you will ever visit. Plan to spend a great portion of the day there since there are so many exhibits and rooms to see.

I wasn't expecting much as the zoo is over 100 years old, but I was blown away. This is the best Zoo I've ever visited, I'd live in the Elephant house!!! Lots of space, nice and flat so getting around is easy. Brilliantly designed enclosures...More

Probably the best zoo I've been to. The enclosures are cleverly designed with low walls but deep ditches which makes you feel like they animals could jump out at you (chilling with the wolves!). Speaking of wolves their enclosure was far too small. The giraffe...More

This was truly one of the nicest Zoo's we as a family have been to. It is styled as a nature reserve so the spaces are filled with trees, hills and water features which can make it harder to see some of the animals but...More

Spacious, shaded and fun. Multiple eateries around the parks as well as bathrooms. I like the wagons that you can use for free to pull your kids around in. I was surpised to see people bringing their dogs to the zoo but it is super...More

When we went (in January) we spent a few hours there certainly not a whole day. Might take longer if it's busier though (it was quiet and snowy when I visited)
