Huge complex of buildings makes this one of the most enjoyable museums you will ever visit. Plan to spend a great portion of the day there since there are so many exhibits and rooms to see.

Whenever I visit a city, I try to go to the zoo! Munich was no different, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m surprised to see other reviews mentioning small enclosures, as I did not think this to be the case at all. In fact, I...More

Well set out zoo, with lost to see, although if the weather is poor lots of the animals will hide. Feeding time for the lions was an experience, penguins are as amazing as ever, whichever zoo you see them in, as are the elephants. Some...More

This Zoo is one of my favourites in in Europe. It is really nice for a weekend walk, very aired and animals really seem happy here. If you have time, it is worth a visit.

The zoo is a great place for a family day out. Several Playgrounds and other attractions beside the animals. The animals are really looked after in spacious areas. Also several Beer gardens with good food are in the Zoo.

It depends on what type of group you are. Because with my kids and nephews it takes about 4-5 hours. And I would advise you to take some snacks for picnic, unless you are OK with oily crepes and French Fries.
