This small church is a highlight of the excuberant Bayerische roccoco style. Beautiful decorated. When you want to visit only one church, take this one.

This little gem of a church is wedged between run of the mill American chain stores close to Marienplatz. You can’t go in past the gated wall, but you can get a sense of the elaborate and ornate interior, though it is fairly dark. Certainly worth a peek if you are in the area.

I have been to many churches throughout Europe and this one is right up there with the best looking. Just look at the pictures that I have attached.

Beautiful church located in the city centre. Unfortunately, the main altar was closed when I visited, however managed to take a sneak peak inside through the gate.

This is a great church that you could walk past if you did not ‘now about the baroque interior. As we visited in December and the Christmas markets were not on it was quiet. A w@rm pop in place whilst touring the city.

Can you say Baroque??? It's just filled to the gills with lotsa art! Yes, it's a bit much, but these guys were in the business of outfitting church buildings so they had all their work in display.
The Rick Steves Munich Walking Tour gives a good presentation on this building. The brothers Assam lived right next door!

Go there if you like sacral architecture and feelings. Getting in was easy (no crowds) and background music made us sit there for some time and immerse into another world.

This church is just wow. It's small and you actually miss the door rather easily when walking through the city. But once inside, I wasn't able to hold back my awe. Truly fantastic!

It is impressive to see from the outside, and even more impressive on the inside. You can't go in to the church proper, but can view the interior from behind a gate.
