It's a beautiful palace although during winters a lot of its wings and apartments are closed so u get to see only a part if its splendure even the statues outside are covered to keep them from the harsh weather. The garden itself is so vast that u need a whole day to finish wandering in it.. the canal and... More

We were at Nymphenburg during a cold February, so many of its outer buildings were closed and the gardens did not look at their best, for obvious reasons! The main café was also closed. The palace itself was stunning with some marvellously ornate (jaw-dropping!) rooms and exhibits. A major plus was the botanical gardens which are accessible from the park... More

It cost €6 pp and it was definitely worth it. If u like nature u can walk throught the beautiful gardens. And if u like architecture, the palace is perfect for that. Beautifuly built and also a lot of wall and ceiling paintings. It doesn't take much of ur day so u could perfectly fit it in your planning. So... More

To call this palace beautiful is probably an understatement. The interiors and the grounds are gorgeous. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The number 17 tram from the centre of Munich stops right outside the gates.

We spent two hours here. Arrived via gray line hop on off bus. We purchased a combination ticket. This only covers part of the displays. This was not made clear or I am stupid. The coach section was amazing. The porcelain section was beautiful but unfortunately most of the written information was in German. In retrospect I would suggest the... More

The castle is huge and my favourite room was the Great Hall. Could have stayed there for hours. We paid for the commentary but it's actually not necessary as the info boards in each room give you enough information. The cafe is well worth a visit there too. You'll need around 2 hours for this attraction unless you want to... More

I could possibly spend a week here at Nymphenburg and still want more. The Palace and Coach Museum are both worth seeing. Just strolling the park is relaxing and beautiful. There is no charge for access to the park.

We didn't go inside but the area outside was a good walk and visually appealing. Can walk the park without admission

This place is great for a nice walk and to see the gardens, but over all it was very similar to Schönbrunn in Vienna which has nicer winter gardens and more to see outside.

Easy to reach from town center. Huge area for walking around. The palace is like all others in Europe, worth visiting.
