We caught the bus to this stop and thoroughly enjoyed our few hours here. Although it was winter and the gardens were not at their best, you can certainly imagine what it would be like at its best.We enjoyed a walk around the beautiful grounds and the inside of the "holiday" palace is certainly worth a look.

The palace itself is beautiful, but what makes Nymphenburg really special is it's park. The grounds are extensive and beautiful both in summer and winter. Worth a stroll!

I went to the Palace for the gardens. It is easily accessible by tram, and the walk from the tram stop into the palace grounds truly took my breath away. There was no entrance fee to access the garden, and it was a beautiful day and I enjoyed walking around. There were couples walking around, and several people jogging as... More

The castle was very pretty and there is a lot of history. It was very crowded when walking in the rooms, but interesting to see the history. The gardens in the back are gorgeous and a must see.

A must for your Munich visit. See what a Prince/King in Germany lived in. The gardens are great for a summer walk.

We took the tram from central Munich which took about half an hour. The Palace is impressive even from the outside. We did the main building, gardens and carriage display. All very interesting.

This palace will impress you for sure. The grounds are extensive and so beautiful in the summer and winter. There is plenty of space to walk and to also enjoy a beer close by. We stayed at a townhouse near here and this palace did not disappoint! Certainly worth a walk around as the gardens are incredible!!

Went when there was snow everywhere. It was a winter wonderland so beautiful. Saw geese and ducks swimming on the the half frozen pond outside. So peaceful and serene to just walk around outside. Defiantly a stop if u are there in the winter, its beauty is breathtaking.

Great experience, especially around Christmas (it was December 23rd). Did not get a chance to see the palace as it was after 19:30, but from what I saw from the outside and the concert room I would go back for a proper visit, maybe in spring/summer in order to enjoy the gardens without the cold! Easy access with the tram.

We went in winter when everything was in white snow - which looked marvellous with the colouring of the castle. Beautiful huge park and on the water channel in front folks from nearby are skating.
