Too bad we visited on a winter day, first day of Snow in Munich this year, everything is having maintenance work. The swan and ducks don't seem to care though. The garden is a good place to run and stroll. Very similar in style as...More

You have two options when visiting here, you can just wander around the grounds which is free, or you can pay around €11.50 to visit the inside of the palace & see the stables & carriages. Either way it is a lovely place to visit....More

This place is huge!! Sadly the park is close in winter and since I got there quite late I didn’t have time to visit everything. They close at 4pm (or maybe 5 I can’t recall). Take the local tram and get off at Schloss Nymphenburg...More

It is a beautiful palace. It has a quite well preserved interior which is easy and pleasant to walk through. But the main attraction are the gardens outside. A vast area, excellent organized. Statues, flowers, a small river with a gondola, benches to relax and...More

Eight Euros and you can visit both the palace and the museum. You can easily see both in 1 hour. Its worth a visit if you are in the area. The palace has beautiful oil paintings on the ceiling and nice grounds for strolling.

Once you are visiting Munich don't miss this location. Sometimes you find additional very interesting special exhibition, permanent exhibition shows very detailed how Nobles lived for centuries here. And with kids in the back you have very large garden with ponds and even waterfalls....

Small fee but worth every Euro. The paintings on the ceilings are absolutely amazing. There are horse drawn carriages and porcelain artwork on display in another section. The waterways have beautiful swans even in the middle of winter, with ice starting to form.

Easily accessible by tram. This Place is well maintained and can be enjoyed in a two hour period. Not too many rooms open to the public so you have time to enjoy the contents of each room. There is also a cafe on the side...More

Spectacular palace and gardens. Unfortunately much of the palace and associated areas were inaccessible during our visit due to winter opening hours. What we did see was outstanding though, and a winter walk in the snow through the garden was fantastic. Very picturesque. Also, very...More
