I didn't really know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by the variety of things to see. I love the theater and this was a great way to spend a few hours going back in theater history. Wonderful place.

Its a lovely arc in the centre of green spaces. Lots of colourful flowers around as well. Always find a lot of people here.

Beautiful at night
We have wandered these grounds a few times. On the odd occasion they play live music on the grounds in the dome where every1 joins in to dance, great atmosphere. There's also restaurants and locals playing games etc...the atmosphere is contagious.

How beautiful can a museum park be?
Jul 2011 • Friends
I didn't really enter the Dt. Theatermuseum, from the outside it looks just fine, but the Hofgarten park that is just next to the museum is a marvelous place.
Nice green passages, flowers, people sitting on the grass and enjoying a bottle of wine, more than enough benches for a chit chat, a few nice looking bar/restaurants in the tree shades on the Ludwig str. (west) side of the park and in the center of the park there are people learning how to dance tango in a little shadow house, so why don't you try it if you come across.
