In common with most museums in Europe, the museums of Konigspalz are all closed on Mondays, leaving you with just a look at rather austere facades of large and grand buildings that surround the open space in which Hitler rallies and armies assembled. The most modern building houses the National Socialist archive - also closed!! If the galleries are open... More

These are buildings made to be admired! Very imposing and grand; well worth a visit on a wander around the city. We didn't go into any of them, but even from the outside these are wonderful buildings. It left me wanting to read more about the history of the city.

Great place for World War and history buffs. The birth place of Nazi Party in itself gives you that creepy feel, having read about them in our history books. A stark reminder to a bloody past.

This is a great place to walk around and discover the start of the Nazi party. Not a great thing but nevertheless a part of history. Lots to see in Konigsplatz. Visit the museums.

Stunning classical architecture, it is fascinating to walk around this part of Munich, the site associated with the origins of the Nazi party. Nonetheless, there is a lot worth absorbing here.

Must see due to the episode of History that took place there. It is also Interesting take a look in front of this square you can see a piece of History too, the twin buildings, Gestapo headquarter and führer Office that currently are cultural galleries.

We walked past the Konogsplatz while going to the art gallery, we were very impressed with regal status of the building and the similarities to Greek artitecture.

I passed by this with my nephew during a short tour, as I waited for Mr. Pancake to open. We didn't go inside, but the architecture is beautiful and the lawn in front of it is well-manicured.

Worth seeing for various reasons. Conceived by King Ludwig as part of a 'beatification' and aggrandisement plan in the 19th century it's beautifully laid out with ionic and doric columned buildings which are now various museums. They are an eyefull. The other reason is that this corner of Munich was taken over by the Nazis as their preferred location for... More

Plain and not much to rave about with it. It's like a knock off some generic building. Not crowded so that was a good thing.
