About
Hundreds of thousands of people visit BMW's four-cilinder BMW tower and the bowl-shaped museum next to it each year. The museum showcases the technical development of cars and motorcycles and also has some exhibits about the history of the company. Many old cars and motorcycles are on display along a spiral ramp that curls along the inside of the bowl-shaped building.

Beautiful displays… got a glimpse of private past and future… loved the layout of the items. Actually learnt more about BMW and its history. Enjoyed myself

This may be the most incoherently laid out museum that I can remember; a gallery of aircraft engines is laid out next to a gallery of cars next to a gallery of motorbikes, but there is no thread or narrative holding it together. It’s not quite chronological, nor organized by product family - it has beautifully positioned and polished vehicles but no story. The section at the end, on the future of autos, may be the most coherent. The gallery acknowledging BMW’s use of slave labor in WW2 is appreciated. The building is a wonder, as is the BMW Welt building opposite.

Striking circular building and smart spiral journey through time. Plenty of interesting facts but much reading, especially for my lad. Nice to focus on green matters, concepts and shifting trends but I left feeling like I’d been on an educational trip and one of the highlights was a few nice old cars just before the shop and exit.

Cool architecture with both the interior and exterior. Parts of it are free to view the other is just 10 euro and worth seeing especially if you are a bimmer fan. Impressive that it also acknowledges and includes their history with ww2…

Near Olympic park, so you are getting 2 attraction in one area and is a stop off the U train.

Loads to see and read. Sustainability exhibit was interesting at the beginning. Loved looking at the models of the cars and bikes from over the years. Lots on the history of BMW too! Also liked the little room with the pod chairs where you could watch BMW ads from over the years. Well worth a visit!

A fascinating place. Lots of creations and inventions from different eras.

The place is well arranged and has lots of cars. If you like motorbikes i think it might be more fascinating. I liked my time here though the Covid testing was very annoying.

Awesome BMW! This is a really unusual attraction. It takes a historic company through the past to the present. The history is laid out so it is relatively easy to follow. Everything about the museum from the architectural design to the exhibits is awesome. It is forward leaning just like the company. They have everything from their airplane, motorcycle, boat and car engines as well as racing equipment. The museum itself is laid out in a circular design that goes up a ramp. It is seriously 1/2 of an art museum the way they show off the car designs! If you combine the BMW Welt and the grounds you almost have a full day of attractions just on BMW.

I'm no real car enthusiast but I really enjoyed my visit here. The BMW Welt itself is completely free, toilets spotlessly clean and had a great cafe for lunch. I walked around the Olympic park which is onsite before heading over the museum which had some great displays.

I’m not the biggest car fan, but this museum was interesting. You can tell BMW kept with their style between their vehicles to the museum. Simple, succinct, stylish. It was perfect for a cold day in Bavaria!
