We did two tours, the thrid reich tour and the neuschwanstein castle tour. The third reich tour was amazing. Iain (the British guide) was brilliant and genuinely interested in the topic surrounding not only the third reich but also the first and second reich which I had no idea existed until we were informed. We saw all the main sights... More

It was an amazing tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Munich and have a day to spare. Unfortunately we did not have a bus to take us from the town of Neuschwanstein so the walk up was a little challenging but still totally worth it once you get to the top. I'd recommend good waterproof walking shoes... More

Just got back to hotel after a day trip to Salzburg from Munich. What a breath taking city. The knowledge provided by our guide Geoff was excellent. His patience and dry wit was also appreciated. Having told him I had watched "Sound of Music" last night in preparation for the tour he took the time to discuss various scenes with... More

Mat was our guide and did a wonderful job. A good balance between a guided tour with commentary and time to explore on your own. Great value.

This was unusual in that instead of a coach or minibus, we used public transport: the train from Munich to Salzburg and back, and local buses in Salzburg between the station and the centre. The weather wasn't what it might have been - there was a bitterly cold wind and snow started to fall - but we got to see... More

We bought a tour of Neuschwanstein Castle from Radius Tours on December 26 leaving from Munich. Radius advertises that it provides tour guides who provide information to customers on the train trip to and from Fussen and up to the castle. Not in our case. The trains were crowded and we never saw our tour guide at any time on... More

We're very sorry you did not enjoy the experience. We expect our guides to provide a full and proper tour, and that is what normally happens as can be seen by most reviews for this tour, which are overwhelmingly positive. As we were represented by more than one guide on that day, we will contact you in person to try... More

I've been more than happy about taking that one day tour. i was a solo traveller but got to know the whole group during the trip - and it was so much fun!! Our Guide Maxine was great: easy-going, sociable, caring, provided us with the tour information and sightseeing details very easily once in Salzburg, with lots of fun, historical... More

We booked a tour of Dachau via Viator. Mat with Radius Tours was our guide. Mat was very knowledgable and the tour was interesting. We would have enjoyed the experience more in warmer weather. We should have dressed warmer! Most of the was outdoors and it was a very cold day.

We arrived in Munich ahead of an organized Germany/Austria tour and wanted to tour Dachau. At first, we wanted to visit the site by ourselves but our Munich friends and the Rick Steves guide book highly recommended that we take the Dachau tour thru Radius Tours. Well, we were totally happy that we went thru Radius. The tour guide, Keith... More

The tour was well organized and led by our guide Matt who was very well versed in the history of the period. His commentaries were interesting and well prepared and included a collection of old photographs that we were shown along the way. Thank you, Matt!
