So worth the time - take a leisurely walk or turn it into a more strenuous hike. The scenery was amazing! Take a camera and be prepared for some gorgeous scenery. Some of the paths are a little difficult to navigate as they can be wet and slippery, but follow the maps and choose your own path. A great opportunity... More

A must! Make sure to wear good sturdy hiking boots. I didn't have a lot of time, so that I took the lift up and walked down. It was nice to see the whole view of the Valley/City while on the lift up. Would go back again.

Walking through Partnachklamm is an experience. If you are taller than 175 cm you have to mind your head though. Also the surrounding areas are great, we walked back by turning left and up, going over the bridge (over Parthklamm) and up back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen through beautiful country side/Alp scenery.

It's a beautiful experience of nature's power. Every george is stunning but this one took us by surprise. Yet the walkways to and around the george give you all the experience you need to get while being in the Alps: crystal clear water, snowy mountain Skyline and beautiful woods. The march back over the Hochalm was demanding but very beautiful.... More

The walk through this gorge is really interesting. The path is along the fast streaming mountain stream called Partnach and the rocks aside are up to 80 m high. The walk as such is easy and also possible for people without experience or even children. On some spots it is a bit slippery, especially in winter.

It is about 10 minutes walk from the parking lot to the entrance of the Gorge or may take a horse ride (5 euro p.p). This place is not suitable for elderly if difficulties to walk. It takes about 20-30 minutes each way to walk from the entrance to the end. I think you can even hike further if you... More

I had heard about this hike a long time from my husband. It didn't disappoint. We rode up the gondola then hiked down to the gorge. It was breathtaking. The water is a pretty color. The cows with bells on around the area was really nice. The Alps are amazing

This location is genuine. If you are looking for an attraction, which was there 100s of years and one, which will be the same in 2080, this is the place to be. Nature pure. Raw nature experience. Very limited signs of tourism.

The walk through this beautiful gorge gets crowded, but if you can start from Das Graseck and walk down, it's less so. We went first thing in the morning and beat the rush. This is one of the most beautiful gorges I had ever seen.
