Was a great hike, not too long but with some great views and photo opportunities, quite a number of people were walking through it. So, not as peaceful as I would have liked it. Still, I think it is a must when you Garmisch. In...More

Neat adventure for the family. A fairly easy hike of a couple miles and prepare to get a little wet but the sites are worth it! Plan on 4-5 hours of the day here.

An absolute must-see if you're visiting this region, plan a few hours to enjoy the Partnachklamm Gorge. My first recommendation is to take the horse drawn carriage to the gorge entrance. The five euro per person charge is WELL worth it when you see how...More

The Partnachklamm is something you should see, whether you are a photographer or a nature lover! Better take protection against spray water with you, as you will most likely get wet...

We parked at the Olympic Stadium and walked up to the gorge. Our hike was good, fun parts to go through tunnels, spray with the water roaring off the rocks and funny stacks of rock stacks at one point. We like to hike and this...More

Just up the road a short stroll from the 1936 Olympic ski jump stadium (where you can park your car) is this easy, mostly level hike through a deep, narrow gorge that is fun for all ages and offering interesting views and sights at every...More

Beautiful scenery, nice biergarten along the way. You will get a bit wet. It was very warm the day we hiked, but I wore bathing shorts and top and was quite comfortable

This very easy walk/hike to PartnachKlamm is very easy and romantic. Most of the walk is paved - watch for cars as recently traffic seems to increase in the area. It is mostly a walking path for people to travel to the gorge. It is...More

Unfortunately we could only spare a couple of hours to visit this beautiful area. Gear yourself with excellent walking shoes and go enjoy Mother Nature. Scenery is magnificent. Don't miss it. You will need a day of walking in this area if you want to...More

As part of a bike tour, we had spare time with variable weather conditions which ruled out the trip to the Zugspitze. So we opted for the Partnachklamm, also highly recommended by local relatives. We cycled from the town centre to the entrance. The local...More

Two quickest ways: (1) Walk. Go past Olympic Stadium to main road and take left. Walk to main intersection and go right for two blocks taking left at St Sebastian’s (small orange Catholic Church). Walk to first right and... More

Allow between 1 and a half and two hours from car park to the end of the gorge and back. If you're running short of time, simply turn around when you've used half the available time. The actual entrance is about twenty... More

The gorge in itself is not huge as far as distances are concerned; but how long you spend in it is up to you. From the moment you get to the ticket office, if you really want to rush it and to not stop to look around (and... More
