This is an amazing place to visit with extraordinary views. I spent two days walking and exploring the area around the lake. The trails are well marked and the ones I did were easy. I know that have advanced trails as well. They offer boat...More

Taking a boat out on the lake is an enjoyable half day excursion, but it can get very busy at peak times. The town is a tourist trap, which when we were there was swamped with Chinese tourists

This is the most visited place according to Trip Advisor, in the area, and I can see why. There are numerous shops, restaurants, boat rides, and swimming if you can handle freezing cold water! We are here in July, and it seems to rain every...More

You will have plenty of boats but they stop at around 5:00 so you need an early start. Doing the lake a hike and a late lunch will be pushing it. Take lunch with you would be my advice.
