It is an oddly laid out place, but worth exploring every room and floor. I loved it! I enjoyed the old cloths that look more like costumes. Hidden past the café is bob sledding and old stereo equipment. There is a train and a gem...More

Enjoyed seeing wood carvings and clocks up close but had I known there were hardly any English translations and audio was only in German, we would not have visited.

This museum was very much a small local museum, but the layout was odd, and didn't make much sense. Most of the displays are in German, so if you don't speak it, get an audio guide (I ended up spending most of the time translating...More

This place has far more than it appears to from the street. Lots of historical exhibits. Our teenagers enjoyed it and learned a lot.

Music "boxes' / players are very cool. The history of the area and overall Germany is very very interesting. Definitely worth visiting.

Right next to the information building. you could spent quite some time going thru all the different levels. The room with the caliopi and music boxes was the most interesting set i have seen.

While walking around town, we found this shop. There are more cuckoo clocks here but of a cheaper quality. There are many items to browse. It is a small store, but worth your time to check out.

To be honest we weren't very sure about this place. But we gave it a try and we really enjoyed ourselves. Make sure you bring some EURO change so that you can use it to play the calliope machines. They were pretty adorable.

We went through with our two teenage children. It was really interesting and lots of things to see, but a bit disappointing that you had to pay extra if you wanted to see certain displays actually work.
