Surprising site of roman ruins that are being reconstructed and It will be spectacular. Well worth seeking out for viewing.

We really enjoyed walking/climbing around the ruins. It is a good workout, no doubt, but great to see and experience. It would have been nice if there were some additional signs/plaques that indicated the different areas and what they were used for.
The amphitheater is very impressive, and the museum is really well laid-out. The audioguide commentary gives a fascinating presentation of the origins of Lyon as the capital of the three Gauls, Lugdunum, in Roman times.
