Nice for kids on a rainy day, but nothing too special. Some exhibits seem a little "old" and the building could stand to be renovated.

We are recent U.S. transplants to Annecy and were excited to find some nearby kid friendly activities. I'm not sure how this worked, but for my 5 year old, 2 year old and I, the museum cost us 3 Euros. Such a steal! We zoomed...More

I was expecting, from some of the reviews, a rather tatty museum with lots of old stuffed animals. In fact it is well kept, excellently lit and has a quaint feel about it. The gardens are lovely as well. If you know London's Natural History...More

This museum of natural history is great to learn more about the Isere region. They have stuffed animals and birds that inhabit the region, and also a collection of minerals.

The museum is located in an old, but a bit noisy building. The collection is not super big so a visit doesn't have to take more than 2 hours. Audioguides in english are available for 1.5 euro.
