If crystals are your thing then this is must see. I would have given it five stars but unlike many places the crystal museum does not provide any translations in its descriptions. Not the easiest to happen across. You take a path behind the church...More

The museum counts with the crystal exhibit and the Alpinisme exhibit - both are excellent - the Espace Alpinisme tells the history of mountaineering through modern and exciting ways - historic videos and artefacts allied with the latest in augmented reality takes you to the...More

Two great exhibitions in one. Huge display of truly stunning natural crystals combined with brilliant exhibition on the history of mountaineering in the area. The later was cleverly brought to life with top class photography, video footage and a range of hands-on exhibits. Most bizarre...More

Judging by some of the comments below, there appears to be some confusion as to what this museum is called ! (And not for the first time on TripAdvisor). Small modern museum with interesting facts about climbing various peaks, interactive and quite fun for children...More

NE PAS CONFONDRE AVEC LE PETIT MUSÉE DU MONTENVERS !! En 2017 le ticket de l'Espace Tairraz (musée des cristaux & espace alpinisme) est à 5,90€ et gratuit pour les enfants !
